Its starting to get hot here in northern Minnesota with a forecast of hot and humid for the next week. Its been a nice spring for both woodcock and grouse chicks. We have not had much rain and pretty good weather to help get the chicks off to a great start on life. In fact, I'm still hearing drumming every time I'm outside working.
We picked up some High Bush Cranberry, American Plum, Chokecherry and Dogwood shrubs to plant at the camp. They will go along the back 40 trail and be ready in a few years. Can't wait!!
